Loved the idea of this and happy to see the 5 star review prior to purchasing. I’ve been putting off craft projects with my 2 year old son because I haven’t wanted to ruin the table. So when this came in the mail, I put it right on and we did fun with markers and crayons and stamps. I have to say my table is on the small side of the measurement for this tablecloth – 48″…and I am a very careful person…and when I put this tablecloth on, it ripped a hole at the elastic edge the size of my fingertip. I’m not sure how people can use this over and over. I definitely see it as disposable. It’s super thin and I was very worried about the marker/stamps going through and onto the table so I was on top of my son like a hawk not to get any of it off the paper and onto the tablecloth in fear that it would go through. If I had to describe what the tablecloth reminded me of in terms of texture and durability, I would say my first thought that came to mind was the really paper thin plasticy shower caps you get at cheap hotels. I know that these are disposable and many people may be okay with this but I think I’m just going to buy a real elastic round table cover, rather than a disposable one and use that for projects so I don’t have to worry about ripping and getting marks seeping through or ripping through.

These tidy table covers are awesome! I keep one on my table all the time and just put our regular table cloth right over it. Then when it is “craft” time, I slip off the regular table cloth and we’re ready to go! The elastic around the edge of the tidy covers keeps it on nicely. I wipe the cover off after each craft and cover and go about my business. These table covers get a lot of use and save my table from marker, glue, glitter etc. When it gets destroyed I just throw it away and stretch on a new one! The three pack probably has lasted me all year….it just depends on the crafts and if your little ones get “hole” making crazy. Definitely worth every penny! Thanks!
